There are 48 clubs in SeoulTech. From the cultural clubs to the academic clubs, the types are diverse. As the new semester begins, almost every club is recruiting new members. Of course, international students are welcome to join. Among the clubs, we would like to introduce three that international students might enjoy.

SeoGoGo

SeoGoGo

SeoGoGo is the only animal rights club in SeoulTech. They aim for a happy coexistence between animals and humans. The club members usually take care of animals living on campus. Specifically, they do various tasks such as rescuing wild animals who need care, stocking stray cats feeding stations, maintaining winter houses for stray cats, and saving acorns for squirrels. They also do Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR, also known as Trap-Neuter-Release), catching cats using box traps, having them neutered and vaccinated, and returning them to where they were found to live. Anyone who loves animals can join!

ECC

ECC is an academic club aimed at improving English conversation skills. They interact with international students and study for various international speaking exams such as TOEIC Speaking and TOEFL. By studying English conversation with the club members, you can build friendships, and through this, you can get an opportunity to become familiar with English. On special days, they enjoy picnics or have holiday parties. If you want to develop your English conversation skills and make friends of various nationalities, join in!

YHMG is a street dance club which began in 1999 at SeoulTech. Since it operates mainly beginner classes, anyone who wants to dance can join. There are no auditions for signups, and they give time to check club activities at the end of every semester. YHMG operates classes in 10 genres, and they perform at events such as welcoming parties for freshmen, and Eoui Dae Dong Festival. They also interact with other university clubs. YHMG is now welcoming those who want to become dancers. Have fun dancing together!
