Literally, the word “drip” refers to a liquid falling in small drops. However, beyond its dictionary definition, it has become a widely used and essential slang term in the fashion world. By the 2020s, the term migrated from specialized rap lyrics to mainstream social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, officially becoming a universal staple of Gen Z vocabulary across the globe.
