Since the launch of Bring Bottle, SeoulTech’s new environmentally friendly café on the second floor of the Central Library, 20 students have been selected as an “experience crew” for its tumbler partnership with Neoflam, which will supply reusable tumblers. Bring Bottle mainly serves beverages in reusable cups or customers’ personal tumblers instead of disposable ones, while Neoflam, a global company specializing in ceramic-coated cookware, produces tumblers using natural silica-based ceramic coating rather than PTFE to emphasize both safety and environmental responsibility. Through this initiative, students can directly engage in campus sustainability practices. As a member of the experience crew, The SeoulTech’s Siyeon Oh reports on her opportunity to promote environmental protection on campus.

Posting Content on Social Media as an Experience Crew Member

There were two missions for the Bring Bottle X Neoflam experience crew. For the first mission, I received a Neoflam tumbler and visited Bring Bottle to post a review on Instagram. By using my own tumbler, I received a 100 won discount. Bring Bottle’s kiosk had a convenient discount button that made ordering simple. The café space was comfortable with a calm, relaxing atmosphere, perfect for focusing on my studies. Additionally, there was a convenient tumbler washing station on site, which made it easy to clean my tumbler in just a few seconds after finishing my drink.

For the second mission, I wrote Instagram posts sharing my experience as a Bring Bottle X Neoflam crew member, presenting the benefits of using a tumbler from both consumer and store owner perspectives. I also introduced SeoulTech’s "Stamp it, and get a tumbler!" event, which supported local small businesses and rewarded participants with tumblers.

SeoulTech’s Eco-Friendly Efforts

In addition to the student-led Bring Bottle experience crew project, the ST Volunteer Corps also runs eco-friendly projects to make the campus more sustainable. To learn more about these environmental activities, The SeoulTech interviewed Bogyeong Choi, who was an ST Volunteer Corps administrative officer at the time of the interview in February 2026.

Q. Please introduce yourself.

A. I am Bogyeong Choi, and I contribute to our university’s volunteer projects, volunteer courses, and eco-friendly campus development projects. My role is to support students in putting social values and sustainability into practice both on campus and beyond through a variety of programs.

Q. Can you give some background on the Bring Bottle X Neoflam experience crew project?

A. The Bring Bottle X Neoflam experience crew project is a student-led, eco-friendly project. It was led by Bring Bottle student supporters at SeoulTech as part of an effort to create a more sustainable campus. Student supporters designed the project to promote tumbler use and encourage students to use tumblers in their daily lives. Most of the experience crew activities were managed by student supporters, while my role was assisting with guidance and providing administrative support.

Q. What effects do you think SeoulTech’s eco -friendly projects have, such as this one, and what can students learn from them?

A. Seeing both the student supporters and the experience crew taking responsibility and actively participating in the program was meaningful, as it allowed me to support their growth up close. SeoulTech’s eco-friendly projects help students reduce the use of disposables, recycle regularly, and contribute to making a better campus environment. I think students can be encouraged to think about why developing eco-friendly habits is important, why global interest in environmental sustainability is growing, and what ESG management and administration mean. I believe that when students practice even small changes together, they can bring about significant improvements to the campus environment.
