Hello, freshmen at Seoul National University of Science and Technology! Congratulations on your entrance! The SeoulTech surveyed representatives of each college and student organization to find out their goals for the next semester.
Club Union
Reorganizing the Public Space System
The existing shared space reservation system made it impossible to book consecutive times, so students had to spend a lot of time trying to reserve hours. To address this problem, we made a plan to reorganize the shared space system.
Expanding Communication
We are making great efforts to prevent communication problems. These actions include holding a meeting with the central club representatives once a month, activating representative chat rooms and sub-divided chat rooms. In addition, we will activate online opinion box so that students can easily make suggestions at all times.
Student Welfare Committee
Student Lecture Meeting S'TED
This unique lecture for students at SeoulTech is an independent project of the Student Welfare Committee that allows the audience and speakers of SeoulTech to communicate and share lively emotions through lectures.
Eoui Sarang Safety Police Unit
This is one of our obligations to patrol various areas on campus in order to identify and minimize the safety risk factors of students. We will work in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. We will also contribute to preventing accidents at campus by recruiting a special safety police unit for specific situations such as the festival period.
Culture Day
This is a project where every quarter we organize event booths with specific themes so that all students at SeoulTech can enjoy abundant cultural benefits. In 2023, we prepared a series of event booths such as Earth Day, Braille Day, and Fortune Day.
College of Energy and Biotechnology
Public Report of Budget and Account
Through monthly social media reports on the budget bill, students will be notified how the student membership fee is used.
Wish Booth
This is a spring booth event at the College of Energy and Biotechnology where students can win a simple snack.
Association of Clubs
There are total 6 major clubs in college, and the association will sponsor many activities to help bring the 6 majors together.
College of Creativity and Convergence Studies
Semester-by-semester Feedback Project
We'll be working on a semester-by-semester feedback project to have time for communication with our students and become a more advanced 'From.'
Graduation Gown Rental for Graduating Seniors
We are conducting a graduation gown rental service for students who are graduating from the College of Creative Convergence.
Festival Garden Party
We will organize a garden party at Daedongje so that students can enjoy the festival more.
College of Engineering
Cultural Sector
Among the existing College of Engineering's events, the popular ones will be further developed, and the disappointing ones will be altered to create higher quality events that will satisfy more students.
Welfare Sector
We will try to produce a variety of custom clothing such as fleeces and hoodies similar to those of the College of Engineering. With these items, students in the College of Engineering can feel a sense of community.
College of Art & Design
Contest and Production of Custom Clothing
Each department usually offers custom clothings for their students. However, designing the clothing logo and graphics is difficult, so last semester our college did not offer custom clothing. Considering these points, we plan to hold a contest to find the best design, then make the very clothing available to the students.
The flea Market and Anabada Semester
The flea market is an opportunity for students to show their work to the entire campus, and it is one of the most popular events in the school. Therefore, we plan to hold a flea market twice a year, instead of only once. At the Anabada booth, students can also sell materials and tools from their major that they no longer use.
College of Humanities & Social Sciences
Transparent Operation & Publicity of Student Council Fee
We will operate a student council corporate account and strive to become a transparent and reliable student council by disclosing monthly student council fee budget and activity reports.
College of Humanities Festival
We will promote Culture Day for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to help students reflect on their experiences. This one-day festival will also include a film screening event.
TBD: SeoulTech Student Council, College of Information and Communication Engineering, College of Business and Technology, College of Multidisciplinary Studies toward Future
